As a California native it isn't surprising I found my way into this artistic endeavor. Graduating from CSUN with a degree in film and art, I found non-union film projects right away. My education continued as I found work as a Paramount Studio Page, giving tours & temping in a variety of departments on the studio lot. That led to PA work on shows like Star Trek, Voyager and Deep Space 9. Pressing on, I made the leap working as a union Set Dresser and Buyer. Incorporating all of my experiences, skill sets & passions, I became a union Set Decorator. My resume (linked below) demonstrates my dedication to this craft.

I thrive on creating mood in spaces. Understanding why a character lives the way they do plays into my joy of visual storytelling. Collaborating within a team of creatives also employs my communication & organizational talents. 

 

I feel fortunate to have found a craft that has sustained me over 20 years.

​I have enjoyed honing the balance between work and play.

 

When I'm not immersed in decoration, you can find me teaching Yoga in Sherman Oaks, where I've proudly maintained my Sunday class (when not traveling for work) since 2014.
